Our vision and strategy for sustainability recognizes that there are no simple solutions to address the environmental, social and economic needs of the society.  we undreastand that to be a sustainable company, we need to monitor an re-eaxamin our achievements and challenges on a regular basis. For this reason we describe sustainability as a Journey that requires continoues learning, adaptation and improvement of our basic business processes and our response to the priorities of stakeholders and shareholders. We continully work to optimize our impact, assess risks and opprtunities and ensure that our core business and financial startegy are aligned with our duty toward the people and the environment.

We fully understand that sustainability occurs when the formal and informal processes; systems; structures; and relationships actively support the capacity of current and future generations to create healthy and livable communities. Socially sustainable communities are equitable, diverse, connected and democratic and provide a good quality of life. We define our social responsibility as:

We are fully aware of our obligation toward stabilizing the currently disruptive relationship between earth’s two most complex systems: human culture and the living world, toward living in perfect harmony with the environment and to improve the quality of human life while living within the carrying capacity of the earth’s supporting ecosystems

  • Design products and processes to eliminate toxic hazards and reduce total lifecycle costs.
  • Minimize environmental footprint in our operation by reducing energy, water and consumption of natural resources whenever possible and adhering to clean air regulations set by environmental agencies.
  • Eliminate waste where possible and reuse and recycle as much as possible.
  • Manage the supply chain by working closely with our suppliers and customers to find environmentally friendly packaging and shipment methods
  • Reduce exposure to contaminants in water systems and infrastructure (including protecting source waters), optimizing aging systems, and next generation treatment technologies & approaches.
  • Working closely with NGOs and External stakeholders and engaging our employees, their families and specially their children in environmental issues through constant training
  • Implementing systems, policies, hiring procedures and practices to promote environmental friendly behaviors. (Green HR)
